One Reason Hillary Shouldn't Be President

This kind of thinking is terribly flawed. I'm no fan of the oil companies, but forcing them to pay $0.18 cents for each gallon of gas that I buy feels like an abuse of power. Besides, they'll just raise the price, probably by more than 18 cents. What does Hillary plan to do then? Place a regulation on the price of gas?

This is bad liberalism.

usatoday.com:

Clinton has proposed lifting the tax on gasoline during the summer and making up the revenue with a windfall profits tax on oil companies. Obama has said that the tax would not save Americans much money and that oil companies would likely raise prices.

'What I've proposed is that the oil companies pay the gas tax instead of consumers and drivers this summer," Clinton said on ABC's This Week.

When asked to name an economist who supports her proposal, Clinton said, "I'm not going to put my lot in with economists. … We've got to get out of this mind-set where somehow elite opinion is always on the side of doing things that really disadvantage the vast majority of Americans."

So a millionaire, Harvard graduate is not an elite? And the educated experts in a field are an elite? And we should ignore elites and listen to rich people who aren't experts? Like Rush, Bill, T. Boone (swift boat financier), Ben (Stein) and Barack along with Hillary. Obviously climate scientists, Stephen Hawkings, Stephen Gould, and Einstein are to be ignored. The Dark Ages are back.

oh the irony.

OT and possibly petty of me, but watching her lie with such conviction was a biggie reason for me:

I find this picture you picked of Hillary Clinton to be very interesting. We shouldn't judge people by their looks, but we really do don't we. Hillary was born October 26, 1947. She is 60 years old as of this date. I think she looks older than her age, especially around her eyes, neck and mouth. Her hair looks younger than her age. AT her age it should be all grey but it still looks naturally blonde. She has a very good hair stylist to make her hair look like that. Her nail polish does not have any color, again conservative. She is more concerned about her hair than any other part of her body. Her jewerly is conservative. I think the size of her pearls are too large, and the string is too short. I like smaller sized pearls, string length about an inch and a half longer. Large pearls are more exspensive. She is saying, I have costly jewelry. Money does matter. Her earings are larger than what I like, but they do match the necklace. On this date she did not spend much time with her lipstick or eyeliner. She just drew it on fast without a lot of skill. She has pretty much given up on her face and her weight. She cares about her looks but has greater concerns or interests. From the tone of her skin, she has a bad diet and may drink a little after work.

Now the reason I picked her apart from her picture, is that I have a hard time figuring her out. She just doesn't seem real to me. What she says is made up to apeal to the majority. She also doesn't have a real workable plan for the future either. I don't understand why she wants to be President so bad. It's really not for our benefit. Don't think I support OBama. I think he is just to young for the job. You really need more experience to be in the White House especially since we have lots of enemies in the world. During these times we really need some one more like FDR. Melanie

Hillary is a political pragmatist. Not a leader driven by any core convictions. Her campaign this season has shown that very clearly in my opinion

Ya but I'd tap that. Yeow! lol
