With the report looming, this piece in the NY Times seems to really put the nails in the coffin for Sarah Palin. It truly looks like she's guilty of much wrongdoing in trooper-gate. It's a good piece. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out.
ANCHORAGE — The 2007 state fair was days away when Alaska’s public safety commissioner, Walt Monegan, took another call about one of his troopers, Michael Wooten. This time, the director of Gov. Sarah Palin’s Anchorage office was on the line.As Mr. Monegan recalls it, the aide said the governor had heard that TrooperWooten was assigned to work the kickoff to the fair in late August. If so, Mr. Monegan should do something about it, because Ms. Palin was also planning to attend and did not want him nearby.
Somewhat bewildered, Mr. Monegan soon determined that Trooper Wooten had indeed volunteered for duty at the fairgrounds — in full costume as “Safety Bear,” the troopers’ child-friendly mascot.

Even if it isn't absolutely devastating for Palin, I'm expecting the report to at least cast her in a pretty unfavorable light. If McCain had a chance before the report, I'm expecting it to pretty much kill it. Unless there's a terrorist bombing on US soil, I don't see how McCain can win.

I think Sarah looks the best of all three pictures. The guy in the middle, that one, has some odd looking wrinkles around his mouth. His eyes are all baggy like he can't sleep at night. Plus he has a piggy nose. Sorry but I just couldn't help noticeing that. Then the guy on the other end has a really fat face, plus his nose is broken. His nose leans more to his left. Something must have happen in the past to do that. I would rate these two as men I would not date, nor would I want to engage in a conversation.
Sarah looks bright eyed, enthusiastic. Some one that I would enjoy talking to and being with. Then there is an old saying, good looking people are smarter than ugly people. I think that is true. Then we shouldn't judge people on their looks, should we?
Frankly, if I was in charge, I would get rid of these two characters, too. As a woman it is rather unpleasant having losers like these two men milling around. She did the right thing. Lable them losers and get rid of them. Send them back to Mars.

It definitely casts the Palins in a bad light, but I didn't think it was totally devastating to them. I wish Wooten would have talked; I'd like to hear what he had to say. He doesn't sound like a stand up American citizen. But obviously the governor's HUSBAND shouldn't be butting into state business.
Bottom line is, this story won't change the minds of anybody whose minds should be changed (Republicans). They'll write it off as another example of the LIBERAL MAINSTREAM MEDIA NEW YORK TIMES RAR RAR RAR RAR

Yep. Diehards will write this off as a witch hunt. I have a feeling the election is going to be a whole lot closer than we may think. There are still a lot of wildcards in play. Like for example if evangelicals will turn out to vote or not.

I read some of the 269 page report. The report was created by a lawyer that the Alaska Legislative Council contracted to investigate the case for merit.
There are 4 points made: 1) She abused her power as governor for personal benefit which is a violation of the Alaska Executive Branch ethics act (Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a). 2) As governor she can hire and fire her staff at will, so firing or reassigning Monegan was within her rights as governor. 3) Wooten (the trooper around whom this whole thing revolves) received the compensation benefits he was entitled to 4) The Attorney General has not complied with the lawyer's Aug 6th request for information regarding the Palin case.

This morning I did some research on Walter C. Monegan, age 57. First I looked up the meaning of his surname. What I found I think is interesting. Monegan is not a known surname. There is NO history of the name Monegan. It is close to the surname Monaghan which means "Monk". Somewhere in his family history they changed their name. People only do this if the name has been tarnished, some one in the family did something to disgrace the family name.
His Father died at the age of 20 in Korea during a battle and received a metal. His father has the same name and looks just like Walt Junior. At the age of 17 he lied about his age to join the Marines. Since his father past away at a young age he was raised by his Grandparents just like Obama.
In October 1994, Monegan's estranged wife, who had moved from Alaska to the Peninsula with the couple's two daughters after more than 10 years of marriage, sought a temporary restraining order against him - accusing Monegan of threatening to kill her, waving a gun at her and dislocating a shoulder. According to her declaration on file in the Santa Clara County Superior Court.
Maybe Monegan has an issue with WOMEN?
Todd Palin showed Monegan the work of a private investigator the Palins hired. The Palins accused Wooten of drunken driving, illegal hunting and child abuse, among other charges. The governor's husband says the family was concerned about the governor's safety. The Palins say that Wooten threatened to kill Sarah Palin's father and made vague threats to her that he would "bring me down." Monegan said he told Todd Palin that he would look into Wooten. The then-commisioner, though, found that the allegations had already been investigated with an internal trooper investigation in 2005. All but two -- an illegal moose killing and a Tasering of an 11-year old -- were found to be unsubstantiated. Wooten was disciplined.
IMO, this would be cause for immediate dismissial. Monegan thinks that it is OK to threaten people, he threathens people himself. It is also OK to Taser a child, they could be resisting arrest. Besides it's good fun.
Monegan was insubordinate and choose to retain a bad cop. Another cause for immediate dismissial. Yet, he was not dismissed after showing poor judgment and being insubordinate. Other issues came up before he was dismissed.
Monegan is just a Bad Cop sticking up for another Bad Cop. He also doesn't take orders from some little cheer leader, even if she is now Governor.

Even if all the rest of Melanie's story is true (and I have no reason to doubt it as yet), that first paragraph is just crazy talk. How can you say Monegan is not a known surname when there have been families with that name here who immigrated from Ireland for over a hundred and fifty years? Its well known that back when most immigrants used to come here legally the folks filling out the paperwork would spell the names howsoever they saw fit and those who spoke little or no English (or were illiterate) would be hard pressed to argue the point. So the spelling of their name could certainly have been changed without any hint of dishonor.

I think you right In8sworld, about it being changed when his family came to America. When I went looking for dirt on Monagan it never occured to me that it could have been changed at Ellis Island. My intention was to expose both Cops as a Dirty Pigs. I found information favorable to my position and posted it.
Two minds are better than one in finding the true facts in a case. Must of us only see one side of a story. I just don't like Cops period. IMO, these people are hatched in the same Vat somewhere down in the basement of the Pentagon. Decade after decade the government manages to replicate humans into looking and thinking the Policeman image over and over again. It is a whole system of government brain washing that manages to create identical Cops.
Then it was a cop that Killed JFK? I did some research yesterday on F. Ritter, and Found a Frederick W. Ritter, age 78 who lives in FT. Worth, Texas. Not far from Dallas, Texas. That makes him the right age and location, but I don't know his occupation yet. Plus he is the only one by that name in the Dallas area. I also found a Frederick C. Ritter, age 78 who lived in Plano, TX and Richardson, TX. He now lives in Clearwater, FL. I don't know his occupation either. Plus the Cops name could be Frank Ritter. Or a variation of Ritter, like Rutter or Rittir. But the search narrows by age (65 to 95 aprox.)it also narrows by location. He has to be living in or around Dallas in 1963.
This case is now 45 years old. The killer and the people behind the conspiracy are dying off. Last night I found a huge number of people who were somehow connected to the case that died from a bullet to the head. More than 20. Near the end of the 70's death by gun shot to the head, turned to more natural causes like Heart Attack and Cancer. Then there was a cop named Tippit that died that day in 1963, the explaination on why he was shot is not clear. He was sitting in a patrol car about 2 miles away from where Kennedy was. Witnesses said it was Oswald who shot Tippit. Now this is the first time last night that I ever heard Oswald also shot a policeman.

Keeping things in perspective here. Lets say Palin took advantage of her position, but Cops can get away with Murder. Here is another example:
During the JFK Murder Investigation a reporter named Bill Hunter is sitting in the pressroom. He is there to get information on the case. He could have been on to something.
Now I am fasinated that Wiggins murders a reporter and only get 3 years of probation. He is a policeman and he is "Playing Quick Draw in a Pressroom"? He must have aimed right at Hunter cause he got him right in a vital organ with one shot. He didn't hit him in the foot. Seriously, there must be an unwritten law that says, Policemen are above the Law. Policemen are allowed to Kill and get away with it. They get away with killing innocent people time and time again. He didn't even get jail time, he got probation, for Gods sake. I am surprised that more people are not up in arms about this. Palin fires a bad cop and people are up in arms about that. Lets put things in perspective here.
Posted by: Melanie | October 13, 2008 at 02:03 PM
Monegan was accused of spousal abuse during a bitter divorce battle in which custody of the children as well as ownership of the house were at stake. None of the allegations made here were documented at the time. If they had been, Monegan would have probably not gotten the top cop job. He is currently remarried with four children and theres no whiff of domestic violence.
Wooten does appear to be a bit of hot head, having several reprimands against him over time. However, at the time Palin asked Monegan to investigate him (when he had had the job for only a month), he did so and found that Wooten had already been reprimanded for these incidents, that there was no *new* evidence to warrant further proceedings and well, that's that. If the allegations had occurred on Monegan's watch maybe we'd have a different story, but they didn't.
As to the Wooten Moose hunting incident, Wooten was apparently with his wife (Palin's sister) at the time who DID have a valid license for the hunt, but had expressed that she didn't want him to shoot it. He did so anyway (perhaps the crux of the problem), and interestingly enough - Sarah Palin's parents and sister helped butcher it and they took the meat home. So if there's any real criminality in the moose incident, Palin had better be prepared to put some of the blame on her own parents.

This is off the subject of Governor Sarah Palin. But, I just want to talk about "Who Killed JFK" for a minute. I found more information on J D Tippit. On this site he writes what I also suspect is the truth in the case.
http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/lofiversion/index.php/t8439.html
Why did J D Tippit die?
-Because he was one of the shooters in Dealey Plaza and was eliminated soon after so he wouldn't talk.
Information I found in Wikipedia - J D Tippit, It is sometimes reported that J.D. stood for "Jefferson Davis", but in fact, the initials did not stand for anything.
I think the name F. Ritter is jumbled, The original word is FRITTERS. By rearranging the letters I get F S TIRRET. Making the R stand at attention I get
F. S. TIPPET. I have two initials left that do not stand for anything.
I also went to another site that listed 600 people who were witnesses or gave testimoney. On the list only 4 were of interest, John Rutter Lawrence, witness to a man with a rifle. Bobby G. Patterson -Dallas Police Department member. Nolan H. Potter - Witness at scene. Woodrow Wiggins - Lieutenant Dallas Police Department. Only two are Policemen, Patterson and Wiggins. No exact matches to the name Ritter who are policemen.

I was concerned that the E and the I didn’t match up in TIPPIT and TIPPET so I did some research on the surname Tippit. I found a Gold Mine of information. A whole page on J D TIPPIT family history going way back. I only picked out two paragraphs I found interesting. Note that the family name changed from Tippett to Tippit.
1778 - Erastus Tippett Goes to War
The following year, 1778, Erasmus Lee and his twin brother Erastus Lee Tippett (4), ages 18, enlisted in the army as private soldiers in Halifax County, North Carolina. The moxy of the Tippett brothers found its way through the generations to Erastus Tippett's great-great-great grandson, J.D. Tippit, who also enlisted in the army at a young age some 166 years later. Erastus (4) served nine months as a drummer in Captain Joseph Mumford’s Company in the 3rd Regiment, commanded by Colonel JamesHogan.
1902 - Edgar Lee Tippit is Born
J.D.'s father, Edgar Lee Tippit (8), was born on January 26, 1902. While schooling was limited, Edgar Lee learned farming from his father. Cotton was the principle crop and it took a considerable effort to produce.
This information was found at: http://www.jdtippit.com/html/history_fam.htm
I also found other sites where J D Tippit, the man that shot JFK, is given the status of National Hero.

don't worry jake... it's just a thousand monkeys at a thousand typewriters. eventually we'll have some shakespeare to read.

If Meg or Jake has something to add about Sarah Palin. Please post your comment about Sarah. I had my say. Don't mind me. I just have a few more comments about "Who killed JFK".
Here is more proof that JD Tippit was the shooter. First I need to define a few terms. My Spell check says to replace Tippit with Tippet. Dictionary meaning of , Tippet - a long scarf or shoulder cape. (1) Tip - a gift or small sum given for a service performed or anticipated. (2) Tip : overturn, upset , lean, slant, Also to raise and tilt forward (tipped his hat). (3) Tip - a piece of advice or expert, or confidential information : hint. (4) the pointed end of something. A small piece or part serving as an end. (5) Tip : a light touch, or blow. : tap.
(1) Tip-off : warning, tip.
Dictionary meaning of Pit - a hole, shaft or cavity in the ground (2) : an often sunken area designed for a particular use. an enclosed place ( as for cockfights). (3) HELL; also, pl: worst (it’s the pits).
Now his last name was Tippett. Pet has a number of good meanings unlike Pit. Example: Pet - Favorite, darling. a domesticated animal kept for pleasure rather than utility. (2)Pet abbr. Peter.
Now at first I was thinking that J D Tippit might have just vanished like Jerry did when he died. Because he was just stupid, not worthy of punishment. However, Pit also means Hell, the worst. JD Tippit gets the worst punishment in Hell, cause what he did was pure evil. There are different levels of punishment in Hell. Now somewhere back in time the family changed their good name Tippett to a bad name Tippit.
Now I think the clues say exactly what happened. JD Tippit was paid, (he got a tip) for killing the President. Tippit fired the fatal shot ( blow or tap). LBJ becomes President (overturn, upset). Now one of his co- conspirators killed Tippit on Nov. 22, 1963 and sent him straight to Hell ( the great hole in the ground, pit). Tippet (shoulder cape) could also mean that he was wearing a cloak over his uniform as a disguise. Now all of this is easy for me to understand. Why does Meg find this to be an Enigma? This is Code Cracking.
Enigma - Something obscure or hard to understand.

Who are the Conspirators in the JFK murder case?
This time I am going to do some Math to get the answer. First I need to define some math terms and some knowns. From a reliable source I am told that the Killers name is FRITTERS. Lets just say this came from a source High Up. There is an S at the end, so that means plural. More that one FRITTER.
FRITTER + FRITTER = FRITTERS now take the S, flip it , flatten the bottom and put it first we get:
FRITTER + FRITTER = 2 FRITTER both sides are equal, a true statement.
TIPPIT + TIPPIT = 2 TIPPIT both sides are equal, this is a true statement.
TIPPIT + TIPPETT does not = 2 TIPPIT both sides are not equal, this is a false statement.
At this site : http://www.jdtippit.com/html/intro_faq.htm - I found the following:
What this means is that Gayle M. Tippit conspired with JD Tippit in the murder of the president. I didn’t find enough information on Gayle Tippit to determine his role. This is all the informaiton I found on G.M. Tippit : Gayle Marshall Tippit Jr. age 96 born in 1912, still lives in Dallas Texas. Married to Dorothy Bost Tippit, age 96. On another site titled “VITAL RECORDS - NUECES COUNTY, TX - DEATHS 1969” . The information here reports his death. - Tippit, Gayle Marshall 23-Jun 1969 Male Single.
What this means is that I don’t know if this person is still alive or not.

Meaning of FRITTERS
Fritter - A small lump of fried batter (bread) usually containing fruit or meat.
Fritter - 1 : to reduce or waste piece meal . 2 : to break into small fragments.
Bread - also means Body - In more than Christian ritual, bread has long stood for the body. It is a composite food, simply assembled, and the food most often offered as sacrifice in religious rituals over the centuries.
Deep Fryer - to cook in enough oil for the food to be covered. (Lake of Fire)
Do you see where this is going? Melanie

Hi Zenn, Yea I kind of agree with you on this one. I think that is all I have to say on this one. The whole "Who killed JFK" case is kind of creepy. Case Closed.

I have NO idea who Melanie is or where she acquired all this "information".
I WAS with the DPD 30 years, I knew and worked with J. D. Tippit. I did know Jack Ruby. There was a W. W. Tippett on the force. I was off duty when Kennedy was assinated and was at my home working in my garage on a project when this occurred. I AM NOT 96, nor is my wife 96. I was born in 1919.
To Melanie: SOMEONE HAS FED YOU A BUNCH OF
